Humming Puppy is an Australian-born yoga brand founded in 2014 by ​​Jackie Alexander and Chris Koch. A year after their first Melbourne location, Humming Puppy opened a studio in Sydney followed by a New York opening in 2018.

The name is a reference to the ‘hum’ sound that is omitted during their classes, set at a particular frequency that is said to enhance and deepen the experience. The ‘Puppy’ element is a nod to their playful and loving nature.
